Executive Architect: PEARCE BRINKLEY CEASE + LEE NORTH CAROLINA CONNECTIONS

Pearce Brinkley Cease + Lee (PBC+L) has over 65 years of experience and expertise in projects for higher education. In the past ten years, they have worked on over 100 projects for Colleges and Universities in North Carolina, including North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University. Currently on the NC State campus, they are very close to completing the new Math and Statistics Building and the modernization and conversion of the historic Park Shops Building.

PBC+L worked with Millenium Design Group as designer for the five-story Mathematics and Statistics Building. Located on the site of the old Riddick Stadium and parking lot, the new building will be completed in the spring of 2009.

PBC+L is also nearing completion of the modernization and conversion of Park Shops. This L-shaped building forms two sides of a new campus plaza and includes a new glass-enclosed entrance pavilion and cafe. Due to its expressive architectural masonry shell and its historic value to the university, the building was saved to preserve a part of the history of the campus as well as to further the university's commitment to sustainable design by reusing the existing structure.
