Distance Learning Services: Visiting the Libraries
The NC State University Libraries has two main libraries and three branch libraries. The D. H. Hill Jr. Library is the main library on the north (main) campus. The James B. Hunt Jr. Library is the main library located on Centennial Campus. The branch libraries include the Design Library and Natural Resources Library, located on main campus, and the Veterinary Medicine Library, located on the Centennial Biomedical Campus.
Visiting the D. H. Hill Jr. and James B. Hunt Jr. Libraries after 10pm
Entrance to the Hill and Hunt Libraries between 10:00pm and 7:00am is restricted to NC State students, faculty, and staff. As a distance learning student, you may not have a Wolfpack One ID card to verify your status.
- If you do not have this card, you need to bring a photo ID (such as a driver's license). Staff at the Ask Us service desk or the Entrance Desk can verify your status as an NC State student.
- You can get a Wolfpack One ID card.
Computers
There are computers at all library locations. You'll need to use your Unity ID and password to log in.
Printing, Copying, Scanning
Printers, copiers, and scanners are available in all locations. It costs $0.10 per black-and-white page and $0.30 per color page to print. You'll need to have money in your AllCampus account to print.
To make photocopies, use one of our combination printers and copiers using money from your AllCampus account.
