The Arts NC State Creative Artist Award recognizes original work in music, dance and theatre created by NC State students. Each winning creative artist(s) receives $500, and the selected work(s) will be performed in the following academic year by the appropriateArts NC State performing arts program. This is an interactive workshop that will introduce the basics of mixing, Serato functions, history, and other fundamentals to the art of DJing. Participants will have the opportunity to play with Pioneer DJ Controllers as well as vinyl. This workshop is intended as an introduction, but open to individuals of all skill sets.
