The Arts NC State: Creative Artist Award is now open for submission!
The Arts NC State Creative Artist Award recognizes original work in music, dance and theatre created by NC State students. Each winning creative artist(s) receives $500, and the selected work(s) will be performed in the following academic year by the appropriateArts NC State performing arts program. Come join us at Imurj, a collaborative art and music space in downtown Raleigh. This is an interactive workshop that will introduce the basics of mixing, Serato functions, history, and other fundamentals to the art of DJing. Participants will have the opportunity to play with Pioneer DJ Controllers as well as vinyl. This workshop is intended as an introduction, but open to individuals of all skill sets.
