NC State Google Drive

As of August 10, 2023 Google Workspace storage quotas will now be applied to all accounts. While Google may still be a good solution for storing content such as presentations, publication drafts, and general lab or research group documentation, we strongly recommend finding an alternate solution for research data.

Google workspace is a personal cloud storage, sharing and collaboration service that lets you access your files from anywhere and work on documents collaboratively. Individual (My Drive) or shared (Share Drive) online storage can be accessed by multiple computing and mobile devices for individual or collaborative work.

Google Drive is approved for use with data classified up through Red according to the NC State Data Management Framework.

Who is eligible?All NC State affiliates; however, only NC State affiliates can be given access to NC State Shared Drives.
