The North Carolina State University: A Narrative History Project Files contain manuscripts, drafts, and galley proofs of the book as it was in different stages of editing. It also includes notes on each chapter of the book, research notes and materials, bibliographic note cards, oral history interviews and cassette tape recordings of the interviews, diskettes containing a draft of the book, correspondence, miscellaneous notes, and invoices documenting the development and writing of Alice Reagan's book North Carolina State University: A Narrative History, published in 1987.
