Marye Anne Fox was called a "super-achiever" by her hometown newspaper, the Canton, Ohio Repository.  Indeed, her staggering achievements are abundant and have been steady since her early youth.  From grade school, into her work as an undergraduate and graduate student, and throughout her entire professional life, Marye Anne Fox has displayed a passionate vision and dedicated drive in the service of her goals.  If her past accomplishments offer the slightest hint at where she plans to lead North Carolina State University,  her installation ceremony on Saturday, April 17, 1999 is certainly a cause for celebration.
