About This Workshop
NVivo is an important software for analyzing qualitative data. Before, if you had to code an interview transcript line-by-line, you would need multiple highlighters or to cut-and-paste each line onto different sheets of paper. Now, NVivo supports you in this process, importing a data corpus, coding, and analyzing. Basically, NVivo streamlines qualitative analysis. In this workshop, we will discuss types of data you can analyze in NVivo, how to code, different functions that NVivo has, and common problems people confront when using NVivo. We will also discuss how to use NVivo for conducting literature reviews.
For this workshop, you will need to have access to NVivo. Before the workshop, download the free trial of NVivo (https://www.qsrinternational.com/nvivo-qualitative-data-analysis-software/try-nvivo). Or, come 10 minutes early, and we can set up the VCL to use during the workshop. To keep everyone on the same steps, we will supply a data corpus to use during the workshop.
