About This Workshop

How can we make bite size pieces of media that address complicated questions? In this workshop, Emmy-nominated media maker Saleem Reshamwala will share his process of making animated gifs for the New York Times Race/Related project, and collaborate with participants to make short stop motion pieces that address issues of social or personal importance. Participants can bring their own topics or choose from topics generated by the group. Everyone will leave having created their own 8-30 second pieces of video that they can then share and some techniques for visual communication in their own work in other media.

  • No experience required. Only open to NCSU students, faculty, and staff.
