About This Workshop

No matter where you go in biology, you cannot escape the cell. When it comes to humans, cellular signaling is the most important aspect of understanding cell structure and cell function. This introductory workshop will explore some of the basics of physiological and clinical implications of cell communications and signaling in the human body, and why it is imperative to understand these pathways.

Biography: Anuj Kalia is a graduate student studying physiology in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. His primary areas of interest are in cellular signaling and cell communication through endocrine pathways.
