Armstrong Memorial Popular Reading Lounge
Building: D. H. Hill Jr. Library
Floor: First Floor, East Wing
Room: 1101
Located inside the Learning Commons at the Hill Library, the Armstrong Memorial Popular Reading Lounge features the Popular Reading Collection, Heritage Month displays, and comfortable lounge furniture among the bookshelves. When the Frank B. Armstrong Memorial Book Sale was discontinued in 2022, the Hill Library's Popular Reading Collection was renamed after Frank B. and Beverly Z. Armstrong to continue honoring these devoted Libraries supporters.
Drawing upon selections from the National Public Radio (NPR) Book Reviews, the Popular Reading Collection houses over 400 popular titles ranging from fiction to nonfiction and cookbooks to graphic novels. The collection is funded by the Parents Association Endowment and the Libraries.
