Jeanie Moore started as an instructor at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College and now serves as Vice President of Continuing Education. From 2003 to 2005 she ran Rowan-Cabarrus's Pillowtex Project, which was targeted at retraining displaced textile workers to re-enter the workforce.

This interview was organized around several major themes: the closing of Pillowtex and the fallout of that; the Pillowtex Project and Moore's role therein; the specific areas in which RCCC was retraining former Pillowtex workers; and the anticipated positive effects of the North Carolina Research Campus.
