Agriculture and Forestry
This collecting area encompasses a broad range of agricultural developments and contributions, including materials documenting cooperative extension, 4-H and home demonstration, agricultural improvement programs, the Farm Bureau, and the North Carolina Agricultural Experiment Station. It includes plant and crop sciences collections that document the work of prominent NC State faculty as well as forestry and environmental sciences collections. This collecting area includes the papers of Professor Emeritus Bruce J. Zobel, who was an internationally recognized expert on forest genetics and forest improvement.
