About This Event
NC State University’s College of Design has been a space that has fostered consistent curiosity, freedom of expression, experimentation, and boundary pushing. This new exhibit provides a thematic overview of the College's history, emphasizing the stories of faculty and students, as illustrated through materials stewarded by the Special Collections Research Center.
The opening reception will feature brief remarks from Special Collections librarians and lead exhibit curator Alana Gomez, celebrating the work of graduate students from the Public History program. Following will be a curator-led exhibit tour and a hands-on look at original materials in the Special Collections Reading Room.
This event is free and open to the public.
