Noah Kahan’s Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever) found its way onto my TikTok this year, just in time for Stick Season. Noah addresses difficult topics such as seasonal depression, divorce, and sobriety, wrapping them up in a warm, folk blanket of support. The album is full of hometown vibes, nostalgia, and plenty of Stick Season references. Noah doesn’t shy away from his struggles, and his lyrics prove relatable, resonating with an audience far outside of Vermont. Aside from serious topics, most of his songs are pretty upbeat. Don’t forget to check out some of his collaborations! I highly recommend it for a country drive, although I listen to it during my daily commute as well.
