Femme Game Nights start up Friday, Aug. 25

Gaming and community—and pizza too! Come to Femme Game Night to play cozy games in an inviting, inclusive atmosphere. Among the games on hand, we’ll be working on the farm in Stardew Valley, zipping through madcap courses in Mario Kart, and building a world in Minecraft. Relax, game, and make friends at the Libraries.

The series begins Friday, Aug. 25 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. in the Hunt Library’s Game Lab. Subsequent Femme Game Nights will be Sept. 29 in the Hill Library’s Fishbowl Forum and Oct. 27 back at the Game Lab in Hunt.

Femme Space, including Femme Game Night, Femme Beat-making Night, and Femme Making Night, opens up traditionally male-dominated or male-centric activities and spaces to women and those who identify as feminine or nonbinary and their allies. The series includes gaming sessions, technology and media/music creation/demos, and a variety of making opportunities, all in a fun and welcoming atmosphere of sharing and community building.
