Community service volunteers make a difference at the Food Bank

Libraries staff volunteered in April at the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, sorting and bagging white potatoes for meals. Participants were Laura Abraham, Sojourna Cunningham, Hilary Davis, Beatrice Downey, Adebola Fabiku, JoAnna Klein, Tyler Kroon, Kristen Rivers, Clara Wilson, Taylor Wolford, and Kristen Wilson. The team was a part of a larger group that sorted 11,325 meals in total—a stunning accomplishment.
