Anantachai elected to ACRL board

Tarida Anantachai

Tarida Anantachai, Director of Inclusion & Talent Management, was recently elected as a Director-at-Large to the Association of College and Research Libraries Board, the governing body of ACRL. She will begin a four-year term this July.

"I am just so humbled to have been elected to the ACRL Board,” she says. “I've enjoyed contributing to various ACRL committees over the years, so now being able to participate on its governing body is such an honor. It is my hope that during my term I can help to advocate for the needs and concerns of other academic library workers—both ACRL members and those outside of the association who may also benefit from its resources, initiatives, and advocacy. I also hope to help examine ACRL's own structures and procedures in the process, particularly in centering EDI and the interests of our historically marginalized library workers in how the association approaches its work. I look forward to collaborating with the rest of the Board in this work and beyond over the next few years."
