How can I access the Chronicle of Higher Education subscription on my mobile device or when I’m off-campus?

The NC State Libraries subscription to the Chronicle of Higher Education supports both on-campus and off-campus access.  Access is available via computer or mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.

On a computer - on-campus of off-campus:

• Go to the following link and enter your Unity ID and password if prompted: https://proxying.lib.ncsu.edu/index.php?url=https://www.chronicle.com/

On a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet:

• Go to Chronicle.com using a browser on your device.
• Select “Sign in” in the upper right corner.
• If you don’t already have an account that uses your @ncsu.edu email, select “Sign up”.
• Complete the form using your @ncsu.edu email address and use any password you choose that fulfills the password requirements during the signup process.
• You’ll be prompted to check your email to confirm your account.
• Confirm your account by clicking on the link that should appear from the Chronicle in your email. 
• Log in using the password you created during the signup process.

If you already created an account using your @ncsu.edu email, but you forgot your password to use your account on the Chronicle.com website, reset your password here (note: this should not be your Unity password).

Daily article alerts: If you want to receive the daily newsletter (Academe Today) from the Chronicle emailed to you, check the box during the signup process.
