Test-drive AI tools, robot cats, and a device that lets plants make music!

Pet a robot cat, use a hologram player, and listen to music made by plants at the Technology Test Drive at the Hill Library Innovation Studio Tuesday-Thursday Oct. 18-20 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. each day.

Drop in during these three days of fun with technology—no pre-registration or experience necessary. We’ll be showcasing a variety of new, interesting, and weird interactive technologies to try out, including:

• The Looking Glass hologram player—featuring student-made holographics
• Our beloved animatronic robot cat from the Libraries Technology Lending service
• Examples of creative tools from the Makerspace and VR Studio
• A kiosk for visitors to try out Midjourney, one of a set of dazzling new tools that use artificial intelligence to quickly create images from user-provided text prompts
• A device that enables plants to make music
