About This Event
This talk by Drs. Victoria Gallagher and Elizabeth Nelson will provide attendees a sense of how history is enacted and embodied—and with what consequences—through the Virtual Martin Luther King Project. The vMLK project began as a partnership between the historic White Rock Baptist church congregation in Durham and local NC State scholars and community members. Since 2015, thousands of NC State students, students at other universities, high school students and community members have experienced this interdisciplinary project. For more information about the project, visit https://vmlk.chass.ncsu.edu/.
