Prickly stream walk nets 20 pounds of trash

In November, four brave souls ventured out on Centennial Campus to clean up trash along the unnamed tributary to Walnut Creek that the Libraries has adopted. What started out as a nice walk quickly turned into a struggle. The stream was surrounded by impassable briar patches. Determined to make sure the stream was clean, event volunteers Katelan Haynes (Lead), Jordan Booth, Justin Haynes, and David Goldsmith pressed on. After considering calling a rescue squad, the crew eventually found a way out with an estimated 20 pounds of trash!
