About This Event

Join Marc Russo, associate professor of Art + Design at NC State, as he moderates a panel discussion on creating portfolios, developing personal projects, tips on freelancing and the murky world of contracts -- all the topics you want to know about as you think about the transition from school to a profession in animation and filmmaking. Panelists include NC State alum and faculty: Mack Garrison (Founder and Executive Producer, dash), Meg Snynder (dash), Dwayne Martin (Epic Games), Karen Jones (Graphic Instructional Designer, UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School), Mark Evans (Partner, NYC’s The Nice Kids, a creative & production consultancy), and Dr. Sarah Stein (NC State Department of Communication). Free and open to the public; students particularly encouraged to attend. This program is co-presented by the NC State University Libraries and Art + Design.

This program is in collaboration with the Raleigh Film & Art Festival 2020. Register for your free pass for all Festival offerings here.
