About This Event

Celebrate your freedom to read! Did you know that books (many of them you know and love, and probably grew up reading), are still being banned and challenged in schools and on reading lists? During National Banned Books Week, you will have two opportunities to watch as talented current NC State students (Monday's performance) and NC State alumni (Thursday's performance) perform scenes from banned and challenged books. A partnership between the Libraries and University Theatre, this program is an annual favorite, so if you haven’t had an opportunity to join us, this is the year!
