Libraries staff help with jungle-themed book fair

In mid-February, Jennifer Calvo, media specialist at Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School invited us to participate in their annual book fair. Eight NC State University Libraries employees, through our community service program, jumped in to help. The book fair was a jungle theme, and the volunteers assisted with running the five fun jungle-themed booths: Book Binding, Song Making, Coloring, Trivia, and a Photo Booth. About 25 students attended the fair. Thanks to Beth Ashmore, Laura Blessing, Dharini Baskaran, Jason Evans Groth, Robin Harper, and Emily Schmidt for helping to make the book fair a success.
