How Do I Access Adobe Software at the Libraries?

Where can I find Adobe applications in the Libraries?

Our Adobe software pages show where each program is available in the Libraries. Select the specific application you want to use and each page lists the computers with the software installed and their locations.

How do I sign in to Adobe applications on a Libraries computer?

Using Adobe ID (preferred)

  1. Find the application you wish to use on the computer you've chosen.
    • Can't find it?
      • If on a Mac, open the Self Service application, log in with your Unity ID credentials, and click "install" to place the application on that desktop.
      • If on a PC that is supposed to have it, open Software Center and install it.
      • If neither of these work, go to the Ask Us desk and ask for assistance finding an appropriate desktop computer.
  2. Open the software and enter your Adobe ID.
    • If you already have an Adobe ID, use it. You will have had to have created it on purpose! It is not automatically your Unity ID.
    • If you need to create an Adobe ID, go to adobe.com and click sign in. This is where you'll have the chance to create an Adobe ID if you need one.
  3. Click sign-in

Using Google with NC State credentials (does not work for all users)

  2. You will be asked to sign in; select the "Google" button

Sign in to Adobe CC with Google

  3. You will be asked to sign in again through Google; enter your full NC State University email, password, and go through two-factor authentication to continue

Log in with Google to Adobe CC

  4. After authenticating through Google, you'll be asked if the account is for a personal account (Adobe ID) or a company or school account (Enterprise ID); choose Enterprise ID (Company or school account)

    Choose Enterprise Account

Using a named-license (usually on your computer)

  1. Open Acrobat and go to the Help Tab. Sign out if you are signed in.
  2. Go to Adobe.com and click Sign in. Sign out if you are signed in.
  3. Reboot your machine.
  4. When your machine comes back up, go to Adobe.com and click the Sign-in button.
  5. Type in your Unity email address only.
  6. Press the "Tab" or "Enter" Key.
  7. Select Company or School Account if it asks.
  8. Enter your Unity ID and password on the Shibboleth Login Service page.
  9. You will be required to use 2-factor to authenticate.
    • If you only have a u2f key registered, you will need to obtain bypass code from the help desk.
    • You can also set up your phone to receive the codes if you like.
  10. Once you have successfully logged in, you should be able to use the Creative Cloud products you are licensed for or be able to download and install the products you want.
