Submit to the Libraries Art show by July 15

The sky's the limit at the staff art show

The NC State University Libraries Staff Association is excited to announce the Libraries Art Show. Inspired by the fantastic artistry and talent of the employees here at the Libraries, the Staff Association invites all artists, makers, musicians, actors, and creators to sign up to display their creations on Monday, August 12 from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. in the Collaboration Hub at the Hunt Library.

The Art Show is open to submissions from all staff and librarians at the Libraries. This is an open-hang, non-juried show; what you submit will be displayed. If granted permission by the artists, we will also leave the work on display for the public for the remainder of the week.

What kind of work are we looking for? Just about anything! From knitting to fine arts, from guitar solos or band collaborations (running on headphones for folks to listen to at the show) to glazed pottery, from mixed media to collections of stories and poetry, from 3D-printed models and objects to digital art—if you’ve made something creative, we want to proudly show it.

To participate, fill out this intent form by July 15. If you have any questions, email any Staff Association member: Shaun Bennett, Jordan Moose, or Jackie Gadison.
