Libraries contributes to book on scholarship

Marian Fragola, Jason Evans Groth, Will Cross, and Mira Waller are among the contributors to a recent book about how libraries spark, enable, and support student work and research. Scholarship in the Sandbox: Academic Libraries as Laboratories, Forums, and Archives for Student Work is published by the ACRL in print and as an eBook, and is edited by Amy S. Jackson, Cindy Pierard, and Suzanne M. Schadl.

Fragola penned “Showcasing Student Work through Public Programs” for the book’s “Library as Forum” section while Evans Groth wrote “Fulfilling the Promise—and the Inspiration—of High-Tech Spaces” for the “Library as Laboratory” section. Waller and Cross collaborated on “Preparing Students to ‘Think and Do’: Promoting the Value of Student Work at NCSU” for a section on “Articulating the Value of Student Work.”
