While the Towards a Better Planet Symposium itself is only for invited guests, there are opportunities for the general public to learn more about these collaborative efforts.

On Thursday, June 6, 2019, join NC State University’s Friends of the Libraries and other symposium participants for a special presentation titled Flying with Pandas and Walking in Space: Pushing Boundaries Towards a Better Planet. Hear from an art school professor and an astronaut, who are also veterinarians, about pushing past professional boundaries to make the planet a better place for animals and humans alike. Special digital exhibits will also be displayed for public viewing in James B. Hunt Jr. Library throughout the duration of the Symposium, June 7-8, 2019.
