Librarians author book chapter

Kris Alpi, William Cross, Greg Raschke, and former Fellow Madison Sullivan have co-authored a chapter of the American Library Association book Affordable Course Materials: Electronic Textbooks and Open Educational Resources, edited by Chris Diaz. The chapter, entitled “The North Carolina State University Libraries' Alt-Textbook Project: Open Education That Opens a Door to the Library,” describes how the Libraries’ Alt-Textbook program/project fits into the larger open education movement, as well as how the project connects the library with campus stakeholders and demonstrates the value of library collections, services, and expertise.
