Hallam joins NC LIVE

Caroline Hallam will join NC LIVE as an Instruction Librarian, starting Nov. 1. Hallam will lead all aspects of NC LIVE’s instruction program, ensuring that library professionals at NC LIVE member institutions are familiar with NC LIVE resources, know how and when to use them, and understand how to effectively incorporate them into their own library’s curricula. She will perform needs assessment; establish learning outcomes; develop synchronous and asynchronous instructional content; deliver instruction sessions to library professionals; promote the instruction program; and measure learner success and satisfaction.

Hallam joins NC LIVE from Central Carolina Community College Library, where she has been serving as the Instruction & Electronic Services Librarian, which included helping faculty incorporate NC LIVE resources into their courses and developing video and research guides.

Hallam’s previous experience includes serving as a reference librarian assistant at McCain Library at Agnes Scott College and teaching English in a rural Thailand. She holds the Master of Science in Library Science from UNC-CH and the Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Organizational Management from Agnes Scott College.
