Tebbe wins EBSCO conference scholarship

Heidi Tebbe, Collections & Research Librarian for Engineering and Data Science, has won a $1,000 EBSCO scholarship to attend the 35th annual Charleston Conference, which will take place in Charleston, South Carolina, Oct. 31-Nov. 5. For the scholarship competition, Tebbe wrote an essay about what her library will look like in five years to go with the conference theme of “Roll with the Times or the Times will Roll Over You.” Her version of NC State in 2021 included diverse student “makers” working in Libraries makerspaces, librarians diving into new technologies in order to help students, and… wait for it... HoloLaptops. You’ll have to ask Heidi about that one.
