Orphanides has a taste for MERLOT

Andreas “Dre” Orphanides has published the instructional technology tutorial “Anatomy of a Scholarly Article” in MERLOT, a peer-reviewed web resource of high quality web-based, interactive teaching and learning materials. The MERLOT project is an online community of faculty and institutions that conducts the peer review of online materials and ensures reliable and valid reviews through the selection and training of the Editorial Board Members as well as on-going support for the review process.

The “Anatomy of a Scholarly Article” tutorial is a visual aid describing the parts of an academic journal article and which can be used as a standalone tool in class or in conjunction with an assignment or as preparation for an assignment. In addition to peer-review comments, MERLOT editors praised Orphanides' work as “a model of the scholarship of teaching that can benefit faculty teaching and student learning around the world.”
