Libraries sorts diapers for those in need

According to the Diaper Bank of NC website, "one in three families faces the daily crisis of a diaper need.” Our Libraries staff has been happy to do what they can to help the organization fill some of these needs. 

This past December, three volunteers (Beth Ashmore, Dawn Fulton, and Eve Fulton) got down to work at socially distanced workstations in the Diaper Bank parking lot to sort and pack diapers into smaller packages for distribution across the bank's service areas. Fortunately the weather cooperated and gave the staffers an excellent outdoor activity to do during the pandemic.
