Fox and Levine author book chapter

Hillary Fox and Cindy Levine have contributed a chapter to the forthcoming book “Managing Grey Literature: Technical Services Perspectives.” Grey literature is a blanket term for research produced by nontraditional channels outside commercial or academic publishing, such as annual and technical reports, working papers, government documents, white papers, and evaluations.

Fox and Levine’s chapter, entitled “Managing and Weeding the Grey Literature Collection,” leverages their work with government documents to address collection management techniques for grey literature as a whole.

The title, which describes the importance of grey literature and offers a holistic approach to successfully integrating it into library collections, will be available in December 2021 but can be preordered now.
