The Libraries has officially adopted this stream and does a biannual stroll to gauge the stream’s health and to pick up any trash. The Raleigh Stormwater Management Division provides plastic gloves and trash bags, and the entire route between the Hunt Library and Achievement Drive is just over a mile.

The intrepid cleanup crew removed plenty of trash, including a tire. And Rob Rucker found a deer skull, complete with antlers!
