The Community Service Committee has consistently volunteered at Note in the Pocket in recent years. The charity collects new and gently used clothing and distributes it to children and their families in Wake County. In 2022 alone, Note in the Pocket helped clothe 8,531 children and adults. They provide an essential service—especially with coats in the colder months.

A group of Libraries staff visited Note in the Pocket on Dec. 7 to sort donations of clothing destined for local schools and social service agencies. The team of Emily Schmidt, Mattison Domke-Latz, Tyler Kroon, Laura Abraham, and Todd Kosmerick participated.
