In addition to the animals out on the brickyard this week, there are also very large pieces of farm equipment towering over everyone. The Cultivating a Revolution project includes many materials documenting farm machinery research at NCSU in the 1950s-1970s. This machinery includes harvesters, tractors, and even a very interesting and futuristic look ahead to what they thought farming might look like in the 2000s.
