Take the Libraries’ Earth Month Instagram Challenge throughout April

Take the Libraries' Earth Month Challenge on Instagram!

April is Earth Month and the Libraries makes going green easy with our Earth Month Instagram Challenge. Just do one or more of our six sustainability challenges, post it on Instagram, and you can win great prizes! Visit our Instagram @ncsulibraries or come by the Libraries’ table at the Earth Fair in Stafford Commons on April 6 from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m to find out more and to get fun giveaways.

Here’s how to participate:

  1. Follow the Libraries’ Instagram: @ncsulibraries
  2. Do one of the six challenges from our April 4 post.
  3. On your own Instagram, post a photo of yourself doing the challenge (a post, not a story or reel).
  4. Add the two tags: #EarthMonthNCSU @ncsulibraries

For each challenge post you make, you will be entered into a drawing at the end of April to win one of three Zero-Waste Starter Kits which include: bamboo utensil set, reusable straw and cleaning brush, beeswax wrapping cloths, and reusable bamboo face cleaning pads. Prizes and giveaways are provided by the Friends of the Libraries.

The Libraries’ Earth Month Instagram Challenge is organized by the Libraries Sustainability Committee and builds upon the United Nations Sustainability Goals, which combine environmentalism with social and economic equity into a way to take personal responsibility for improving and sustaining lives on Earth. Our challenges make this very big idea into small things that you can do every day and incorporate into your life.
