See Margaret Atwood’s talk on livestream, Nov. 15!

So you didn’t get a ticket to author Margaret Atwood’s campus visit. No worries!

Members of the NC State community will have exclusive access to the livestream video of Atwood’s keynote address on Friday, Nov. 15 at 6:00 p.m. at go.ncsu.edu/atwood-live. Access requires login with your Unity ID.

Atwood—whose classic novel The Handmaid’s Tale has garnered renewed interest through an acclaimed television series—visits NC State as a part of the ongoing exhibition Art’s Work in the Age of Biotechnology: Shaping Our Genetic Futures. She will read from and discuss her 2003 novel Oryx & Crake, covering a host of issues including genetic manipulation, corporate domination, and global pandemics.

Art’s Work/Genetic Futures is the result of a collaboration between the NC State University Libraries and the Genetic Engineering and Society Center, realized through partnerships with the Gregg Museum of Art & Design and the North Carolina Museum of Art.
