In honor of National Coming Out Day and LGBTQ+ History Month, the GLBT Center is hosting a Pride Walk around campus starting and ending at Stafford Commons on Monday, Oct. 3 from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.—and the Hill Library is one of the stops along the route!

The walk should stop outside the library’s Hillsborough St. entrance around 4:30 p.m. We will have live music and we'll be taking a 360° video of the walk (with cameras available for checkout, by the way!) and there will be some cheers as well.

The Pride Walk will embodies welcomeness and strengthens the sense of community for members of the NC State community who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, queer, transgender, genderqueer, gender fluid, gender non-conforming, nonbinary, agender, intersex, and questioning.

The Libraries is proud to support the LGBTQ+ community at NC State!
