Don’t miss “Hunt Library After Dark” on Oct. 11

Great food and drink—and all of the Hunt Library’s wonders—in one fun night

Delicious food from MOFU Shoppe. New Belgium beer. A rooftop view of Lake Raleigh. And all the bookBots, drawing robots, VR, and turntables you can handle!

Join the Friends of the Library for “Library Libations: Hunt Library After Dark” on Friday, Oct. 11, from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on the Hunt Library Skyline Terrace. Come explore the technology and spaces that make Hunt one of the top research libraries in the world, and enjoy a beverage on the terrace overlooking Lake Raleigh.

You’ll have an adventure in virtual reality, make a drawing with a remote-controlled robot, and release your inner DJ on our turntables.

And you won’t be hungry or thirsty! Raleigh’s renowned MOFU Shoppe is catering appetizers and New Belgium Brewing is providing Old Tuffy and Fat Tire beer (for attendees 21 years or older).

This event is free to current Friends of the Library Members and Life Members.  Non-members may attend Hunt Library After Dark by joining Friends of the Library or purchasing an event ticket. Early registration ticket prices: $10 for alumni and $15 non-alumni.
