Contribute to the online Quaranzine!

Send your work by May 13, then Zoom in for a zine party on May 15

If a semester ever needed some levity, creativity, and connection, it’s this one. That’s why, for the final installment of this semester's Libraries Zine Workshop Series, we are offering Dispatch from Quarantine, a Remote Zine Workshop. And we need your contributions!

Typically, in a zine workshop, each participant would complete an entire paper zine themselves. For this experiment, however, all NC State students, faculty, and staff—anyone with a Unity ID—can submit thoughts, moments, images, and video or audio clips by Wednesday, May 13 at midnight. The idea is not to put forward a masterpiece but to capture a quick sketch of the moment. We also hope that you will share this broadly across your networks, especially to any students you may be in touch with.

The Libraries will assemble your contributions into an online zine to chronicle our collective experience in quarantine, and present it online on Friday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m.

Submission information, contribution prompts, and registration information for the showcase event via Zoom are all available on the Dispatch from Quarantine project page.

Your work may be solitary right now, but you are not alone!
