Bloomberg terminals debut in the Hill Library

In a partnership with Poole College of Management, the Libraries is proud to host nine new Bloomberg terminals on the 9th floor of the D. H. Hill Jr. Library. These workstations enable users to access the Bloomberg Professional service for real-time financial data and analytics.

Bloomberg terminal users can monitor and analyze market data and place trades on an electronic trading platform. The system also provides news, price quotes, and messaging across its proprietary network. The terminals feature a unique keyboard layout designed for traders with function keys calling up market sectors such as government securities, preferred shares, and commodity markets. The terminal also offers real-time news updates, both financial and not.
