Libraries' Staff Takes on Key Roles in Campus-wide IT Governance

We all know from the work we do each day that our campus IT infrastructure plays a critical—and growing—role in the success of NC State.

Vice Chancellor and Chief Information Officer Marc Hoit has launched a major initiative to reconfigure university IT so that it can give the best possible support for the research, teaching, and staff needs of the University.   The result will be a comprehensive new governance structure (http://oit.ncsu.edu/it-governance-at-nc-state ) that will help us all make strategic and wise use of our IT resources.

As a key IT innovator and technology incubator at NC State, the Libraries is a significant stakeholder in this new governance process.  The following members of our staff have been asked to bring their expertise to the table and serve on strategic committees as the governance process ramps up:

Carolyn Argentati

IT Strategic Advisory Committee (ITSAC)

Kristin Antelman

Campus IT Directors (CITD) Committee

Maurice York

Campus IT Directors (CITD) Committee;  Desktop & Application Support Committee;  Infrastructure Subcommittee

Kim Duckett
