Some desired outcomes of the Anniversary was to build pride among faculty, staff, students, and alumni, to reinforce the idea that NC State is the university of the future, to reduce barriers to interdisciplinary collaboration across campus, and to increase understanding of the history of NC State. The Committee developed a theme and logo and was given a budget to accomplish these outcomes. It was disbanded by 2013.
