The records of the Delta Lambda Phi fraternity, Beta Alpha Chapter (North Carolina State University's chapter) contain meeting minutes, the constitution and by-laws, a history of the chapter, photographs, newspaper articles about the chapter, and other general information. Delta Lambda Phi is a national social fraternity for gay men.
In 1998, four students at NC State proposed starting a chapter of Delta Lambda Phi (DLP); a "colony" was granted to NC State by the national office of DLP in that year, and a full chapter was applied for and granted in 2001. The Beta Alpha chapter remains active as of 2008.
Delta Lambda Phi (DLP), a national social fraternity for gay men, was established in Washington, D. C. in 1986, with the first inductions taking place in April of 1987.
