The North Carolina State University College Station Credit Union was organized by a group of faculty members in 1932 to provide financing to members at reasonable interest rates and to ensure the safety of deposited funds. Members of the Credit Union voted during a meeting in February of 1947 to dissolve the organization; this action was carried out after the August meeting of that same year.
