Three scrapbooks and four folders of material. These are a scrapbook compiled during Ruggles' student days at North Carolina State College (later University), which contains clippings and other items relating to academics, athletics, social events, and R.O.T.C., as well as two scrapbooks compiled when Ruggles was Director of Extension at North Carolina State, which contain items relating to the extension program and short courses. Also included is correspondence, 1927-1928, regarding Ruggles' thesis and other materials relating to his Master's degree and thesis. Edward Wolfe Ruggles (1900-1982) graduated from North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (later North Carolina State University) in 1922. He was a member of the Electrical Engineering faculty, 1926-1928. Ruggles became Assistant Director of the College's Extension Division in 1928 and Director in 1934.
