Also included are a few materials from his predecessor, dated 1949. William Fred McClure earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering from Clemson University and master's and doctoral degrees in biological engineering from NC. State. Dr. McClure's expertise is in bioinstrumentation, computer control systems and physiochemical properties of biomaterials. Dr. McClure retired in 2006 and is now an emeritus professor in North Carolina State University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
