The Hoogere Textielschool, Enschede decompositie-boek is a large manuscript book containing handwritten notes in Dutch on weaving, as well as hand-drawn diagrams of weaving patterns accompanied by fabric samples. Enschede, a city in the eastern part of the Netherlands, was a large center for production of textiles and was home to a technical school for textile manufacturing.
